Robert is the owner and principle guide of Robert’s Fly Fishing Services, LLC and is a manger at the Angler’s Covey Fly Shop here in Colorado Springs. He has been involved in the fly fishing industry for close to 20 years. Having traveled to over 60 countries, he is an accomplished angler, teacher and guide for fresh, salt, tropical and warm water species. His passion and expertise in Aquatic Entomology has enabled him to travel the world collecting aquatic insects, as well as studying, researching, curating and teaching at Colorado State University and the Front Range Community College.

In addition, Robert is a published researcher and has described several new species of aquatic insects. Robert has been a guest lecturer across the Western United States on the topic of Aquatic Entomology. Look for Robert on the WFN (The World Fishing Network, Channel 395 or check you local listings) talking about some of Southern Colorado’s local fishing areas on the S. Platte River. Robert as been guiding in Colorado for the past 14 years and currently is a Simms Guide Ambassador.
