CMCTU Equipment Raffle

Our equipment raffle is the major fundraiser for your chapter to help fund stream restoration projects.

Last year we raised $8000 which will help fund stream improvements this year to Fountain Creek at Soda Springs Park with the goal to create a local fishery that CDOW will stock. The money was also used to help fund stream improvements to Camp Alexander in Elevenmile Canyon as part of our Trees for Trout project on the South Platte River last year.

This year our equipment package raffle prize is worth $1478. It consists of a rod, reel, fly line, wader/duffel bag and a $200 gift card.

The rod was donated by Angler’s Covey and is the brand new Orvis Zero Gravity Helios 8' five wt that is serialized as part of the first 250 made.

The reel was donated by the Peak Fly Shop and is a Lamson Waterworks Hard Alox Litespeed 2 for a 5 wt rod. The Peak also donated the WF5F fly line, the new Rio Gold line with Extreme Slickness technology.

Ghillies Fly Shop donated the Fishpond Cimarron wader/duffel bag.

Sportsman’s Warehouse donated the $200 gift card.

Raffle tickets are again $5 and the drawing will be held at the May 27th membership meeting. You do not have to be present to win.

You can help support your chapter by buying a raffle ticket at membership meetings and by helping the chapter sell raffle tickets. We are selling only 1600 tickets and have already sold 500 of the tickets at the Fly Fishing Show. Our next sales event will be the ISE Show at the Denver Convention Center on Jan 24/25/26/27.
